Level 3 Behavioural Activation Skills: A Therapeutic Approach

Behavioural Activation is a brief talking therapy that uses mapping to encourage people to approach activities that they are avoiding and is particularly helpful for people experiencing anxiety and depression.

This three-day accredited unit enables participants to:

Understand the link between activity and mood and what Behavioural Activation is
Leaf Image
Be able to assess a client’s current situation and identify long term goals
Leaf Image
Be able to identify appropriate activities with a client and create an activity hierarchy
Leaf Image
Be able to support a client to plan an activity diary
Leaf Image
Be able to monitor and review progress with a client and end the intervention effectively

Delivery Method: Virtual via Microsoft Teams

Dates and Time: 7th, 8th and 9th May 2024 – 10am to 4pm – Via Teams

Course cost: £100 for GMMH staff and other organisations
