Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) – Supporting a child with (suspected) FASD

This course explores some FASD-informed strategies for parents, carers, professionals with responsibilities for supporting a child with (suspected) FASD, or for anyone interested in learning more about this topic.

 

What will I learn?

By the end of this course, you will have a better understanding of:

1) How to build on the strengths a child with (suspected) FASD has.

2) Strategies which can support a child with (suspected) FASD.

3) Strategies which can support a young person with some associated difficulties of (suspected) FASD.

4) What support is available and where to find it.

 

How long will the course take?

45 – 60 minutes

 

In this course, ‘child’ refers to children and young people up to the age of 18.
