Around 41% of adults who pay energy bills said it was very or somewhat difficult to afford them.  

Private rental prices continued to grow at a record high rate in the UK, rising by 6.2% by December 2023.

Rising food costs was the most reported reason among 52% of adults who said their cost of living had risen compared with the previous month.

Join us on this interactive course where we will recognise together the importance of money management. The course will support people to understand their own finances and money management skills. It will also provide participants with new approaches to money management and offer information on how to get further support.

By the end of this course participants will:

 

  • Build confidence in talking about money and the importance of managing money well.
  • Gain a greater understanding of the key skills involved in managing personal money, including affordability, planning, and budgeting.
  • Have explored ways to keep money safe and protect yourself and others from fraud and scams.
  • Be aware of further support resources and where to go for further support and advice.
