Understanding Quality Improvement – Silver Training

If you have completed the Understanding Quality Improvement – Bronze Training you are welcome to request a place on the Silver Training.

By the end of the one day QI Silver training, you will:

  • Understand the theory and context of quality improvement in the NHS
  • Be able to develop the building blocks for delivering an improvement project – through the application of Improvement tools
  • Demonstrate understanding of the PDSA cycle and its role in improvement
  • Use the PDSA cycle to deliver a project
  • Understand the importance and benefits of measurement for improvement
  • Define measures for a specific project
  • Know how to interpret data including Run and SPC charts and communicate the story
  • Understand the concept of Reliability for healthcare
  • Know how standardisation can enhance the quality of care we provide.
