What are the benefits of meditation?
Many people start meditating to manage their stress and/or anxiety levels. Meditation can also help with:
- Increasing our focus.
- Increasing our mental resilience.
- Decreasing our blood pressure and heart rate.
- Decreases in blood pressure, heart rate and cholesterol levels, thanks to its stress-lowering properties.
- Increasing our positive emotions and compassion.
This series of 4 meditations, focuses on:
- Breath meditation – 8 minutes
- Body scan meditation – 19 minutes
- Compassion meditation – 10 minutes
- Visualisation meditation – 10 minutes
