NEW – Let's Talk About Menopause

Whether you are experiencing symptoms yourself, supporting someone else, or simply want to understand what menopause really is, this course has been designed to provide clear evidence and lived experience based information in a supportive and non-judgemental environment.

Our aim is to empower you with the knowledge required to navigate Peri Menopause, Menopause and Post Menopause.

Aims/Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will:

  • Be provided with information on what menopause is including its stages and a variety of symptoms
  • Be given time to focus on perimenopause and these experiences
  • Understand how menopause can impact on someone’s day to day functioning, both in personal and professional life
  • Understand how experiences of menopause can feel alongside other conditions such as a physical or mental health issue or neurodiversity
  • Gain an awareness of how menopause is viewed in a variety of cultures
  • Understand what treatment and lifestyle choices/changes can help alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life
  • Understand what adjustments can be made to support people experiencing menopausal symptoms
