If you are unsure which Paris training you need to complete, please raise a call by clicking here
Who is it for?
This course is for clinical staff in ‘qualified roles’ from all inpatient ward or unit based services (except medics), e.g. Staff Nurse, Team Leaders and Ward Managers.
Please note – We recommend any staff that do not cover inpatient admissions, leave and ward discharges, complete the Community Clinician eLearning course as this will include caseload management and Staff Diary. This is likely to include staff in roles such as Physiotherapists, Dietitians and Occupational Therapists.
What does it cover?
It covers Service User record maintenance, inpatient searching, referrals, waiting lists, inpatient admissions, IPFM (Inpatient Flow Manager) bed allocation and plans, progress notes, care documents, documents, letters and the inbox. It also includes checking and recording leave and AWOL, ward transfers, ward discharge and referral closure. The course content is tailored around the role and responsibilities for clinicians and will provide the basic skills to navigate, search and record information correctly on the Paris system.
