Understanding & Managing Worry

Worry is a normal response to everyday life that causes anxiety. Most people will experience worry throughout their lifetime with no long term effect.

This one day course will enable you to understand what worry is and how our own thoughts and behaviours maintain it. This course will also introduce you to specific evidence based techniques that reduce worry and help manage the anxiety worry causes day to day.

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Understand what worry is and recognise when it becomes a problem
  • Understand what causes worry and how it is maintained
  • Have learnt a variety of management techniques that you can use daily to reduce problematic worry
  • Have had the opportunity to apply learnt techniques to your own experiences
  • Have heard examples of worry management techniques in action.
